Very Cool,

It's going to make the wait for the Egyptians while others are playing with their new shineys easier :D

I'll get some preview rules up for them soon :-) Just need to do a little playtesting.

I'm almost finished reading the entire rulebook, and I'm bursting with excitement about this game!

The book itself is laid out quite nice with fluff interspersing the rules and some nice artwork. The rules themselves are clear and concise and provide much more depth than I originally thought - which is fantastic for story driven campaign play. I seriously can't wait to play....but I'll have to wait for those Egyptians! Speaking of which, I was hoping for a bit of info on them in the rulebook...but I suppose good things come to those who wait!

At any rate, I just wanted to say great job guys!

p.s. I watched Oliver Twist this weekend (as background research) after starting to read the rules.

This is good news!

Of course, we'll need that Demented Games definition of 'soon' before we can truly get excited! :)

@ Kotep - thanks man! That's great to hear!
@Alpharius:  Yeah - I hear ya. I don't want to commit to anything just yet as rules are slippery beasts and just when you think you have a firm grip they seem to wriggle out of your hand (metaphorically speaking).

@Kotep - thanks for sharing your thoughts on the rules, I am really happy to hear that you've been enjoying the book! Pete has mostly been responsible for creating the rules, and I am so pleased and impressed with what he's done. I can't believe how many cool, fun little mechanics he managed to build in: whether it's Tempting Fate, or the Fascinating Features, or the Tarot of Taxing Tasks - so many little extra elements that should make for some awesome fun games! :D

Will we get the rules for the full Guild at around the same time as the Egyptians?

Hi All,
The Electronic Rulebook has been updated with changes to pages 57 & 68 to fix a couple of wee issues.
The Delight Duration example isn't quite right on page 57 and the mission "Territorial Dispute" incorrectly states 6 12 x 12" squares when it should be 9.
I'll release an official errata doc when we have a few more located.
Cheers
Pete
