Hello from (Southeastern) Massachusetts!

Hello everyone - I'm really looking forward to diving into the World of Twisted!

Hopefully there's at least one other Twisted Fan within say, an hour or so of me here in the Greater New Bedford area? :)

Sadly Melbourne is a little further than an hour away. ;)

I got to go to Australia once for work - and it took almost 24 hours of travel time to get there.

That was a long day!

Loved it though, and would love to get back there for a bit longer too - was only there for about 3 days!

Which city did you make it to?

I was there for work, visiting Cochlear Ltd. in Sydney.

On my one day off, I did manage to walk over the Sydney Harbor Bridge (took me a bit longer than I though!), down to the Opera House area, where I then took a ferry ride over to Manly Beach so I could roll up my pants and go in the ocean up to me knees just so I could say I did!

And even though there were a few people actually swimming in the ocean at that time, I cast a wary eye about for stonefish, stinging jellies and sea snakes!!! :)

Oh - Sydney is pretty cool - particularly The Rocks (the area just below the city end of the Bridge). Melbourne also has it's charms and I think both cities feel quite different.
You are right - Australia is full of many strange and rather pointy/bitey creatures. A bit like the Twisted sewers!
