The Old Corner Shoppe?

Hi All,

Quick question on The Old Corner Shoppe, I am at step one and the two pieces that look like bricks (second and third pieces installed) do not match what is in the instructions. It looks as if they are supposed to support the archway for the front door but they are about 3/4 inches (sorry American) too short. I looked through all of the sprues and maybe I'm blind but don't see a bigger piece. Anyone else come across this issue? If so what was your solution?

If photos are required to understand I will try and get them here.

Anyway The Assay Office, Abbot & Gillard Moneylenders, and the Walkway have been assembled and are beautiful, thanks Miniature Scenery for making such awesome terrain. Now just get an American distributor..... :D

Thanks,

Steve

Hmmm - I've not built a corner shop yet. I believe it is a bit, shall we say, curly...
I'll take a look (or ask craig - the designer to help). Photos would be great!

Hi,

This is actually the only thing I have managed to find time to build so far (it is lovely).
From recollection you need to add the larger piece you have in the top right of your second image, in front of those thinner strips.

If you need more details let me know and I'll try and sort some pictures.

OK, that makes sense, in the instructions it has the piece I am talking about supporting the doorway arch. Before I continued I wanted to reach out to make sure I was doing it right.

Thanks for the help...

Steve

Now I see the instructions page I definitely remember getting tripped up here also, but i am confident that that it worked out once carried through. I think it is possibly the case that some excess material was removed at some point, but the instructions were not updated.
