AGN's Servants of the Engine WIP

Does this count as Work in Progress? I have made a very little progress.

I broke all my own rules to get these done, including not pinning them and basing before painting. For pinning, I made a little experiment. I glued one joint, let it set and tried to break it. It was an incredibly good joint. The mini will bend before these joints open, unless the glue degrades over time. I am careful with my minis and I think I'll be okay. I have never tried this before, I am normally pinning monster.

Next, once I am happy with the green stuff I have to decide how to prime. I normally go white, but there will be a lot of TMM here, so I might use black. Stay tuned!

Cool. I've not heard of that brand before - must be A Canadian thing ;)
Is that a Kingdom Death Mini in the background?

Oops. You caught me. It has to be done by Halloween ... it's the Halloween Twilight Knight I bought last year.

Some actual WIP. I am not too happy with the bases. I shamelessly stole the Flower Seller's skirt, but in my defense, I did look at other flowers and tried other colours.

Calling her done, bar some touch up and varnish. I am disappointed with the TMM work - it's very flat. I might have to up my NMM game.

I can see what you are saying about the metal from the point of view an artist is never happy with their own work, I happen to think it looks great though. The colours really pop of her.
The blending on the skirt is fantastic, very jealous.

She looks great! I have yet to paint one of her up but I am looking forward to it.
I'm working on a Teacher at the moment - should have her ready to post soon! Just a low end demo game standard I'm afraid but still... I'm painting...

I like her! Very vibrant and fun. Might be the pic but in case it isn't, maybe the breast could be highlighted a bit further similar to the edges of the skirt?

Probably old news, but here's the best TMM tutorial on the net:
