Re: Twisted Painting Guides: Bloodrage Urkin Part 1

This is great Seb. Is this the beginnings of painting guide from the kickstarter pledge? If so, bloody fantastic. If not, still bloody fantastic! ;) The detail, technique and thought processes you go into is very enlightening, although I get lost in the big blocks of text especially when reading bac...

Best deck box for cards?

Can anyone out there recommend deck boxes for the cards that come with the game? Or any other suggestions for storage/transport of the cards? I've received my wave 1 rewards and the first thing I've done is put all the cards in card sleeves - awesome. But now I've got a whole stack of slippery cards...

Re: Next Maintenance Phase

Fair question (certainly not dumb!) as the English language can be confusing as you say. After reading over the examples you point to I think "next Maintenance Phase" refers to the maintenance phase of the current turn. Literally the very next maintenance phase you encounter. So yes, lobbing a smoke...

Re: The News and Previews Discussion Thread? (Horace)

That teaser pic is awesome, I can't help but speculate and postulate! The Servants of the Engine - some mean lookin' bloke, he has an eyepatch, perhaps a steampunk Nick Fury? The Dickensians - a weird fly eye creature, this looks fantastic, a fast one that can fly no doubt The Egyptians - this looks...

Re: Choosing colour schemes

There's a ton of info out there on colour theory. I'd say just keep it simple with 2 main complementary colours, or 3 in a triad. Complementary being opposite sides of the colour wheel, triad being 3 in a triangle on the wheel. Google adobe color wheel, there's a pretty cool tool there that can help...

Re: Urkin on display base project

Oh man, I really wish I'd known about avoiding 90 degree right-angles before starting. I've now put the door in off it's hinges on an angle and added some other elements at different angles. Since the last post I've done the following: * glued down bricks and some other random elements * scuffed up ...

Re: Why did you choose your faction/s?

I've picked a faction box from all 3 factions, but the character of the urkins and their sculpts are easily my favourite and will be fun to paint. The Avatar of Set and Lancer models are brilliant also.

New Monkey

Looks like someone is retelling the Journey to the West story - or Monkey as I knew it growing up. Just wanted to point out the female Sandy character which was clearly inspired by Tzandi!! http://www.huffingtonpost.com.au/2017/04/20/monkey-magic-returns-as-filming-begins-on-the-legend-of-monke_a_22...
